HOAVC Meeting - Saturday May 4, 2024

Clubs present: 3 Trails Vans, Hy-Rollin Vans, Central Iowa Vans, County Line Vans, Twin City Vans, Vantasia Vans
Meeting called to order

Old Business:
Reminder that all sanctioned events must have a HOAVC sanctioned event logo on the flyer
Council of Councils: Suzy Phillips attended.
  • They are looking for C of C hosts.
  • Does HOAVC want to host a C of C in the Kansas City are?
  • Motion made to gather info and look for a hotel in the KC area to host a C of C

New Business:
Dash Plaques – Using a new vendor. Plastic Dash Plaques are a little cheaper. Motion passed to try plastic dash plaques this year.
2024 HOAVC Havoc Event
Taco Potluck:
  • HIVE will provide meat
  • County Line Vans will provide cheese
  • Vantasia Vans will provide hard taco shells
  • People attending that want to participate can use the signup form on our website
3 Trails Vans will run the shot bar Friday night, will do Saturday night if no one else signs up for it.
We are looking for a band for Friday night. There will be a DJ on Saturday night.
Reminder – Halloween theme. Suggested trick or treating for grownups?

• Twin City Vans – moved to Albert Lea, MN
• Midwest Vans – Memorial Day weekend, wrestling show, vendors
• County Line Vans Beer Bust June 1 at the Brat Stop in Kenosha, WI
• County Line Vans Van A Mega Mania – Fathers Day Weekend – Band Friday, Saturday DJ and Bingo, Red Stripe party Saturday afternoon.
• 2024 Van Nationals – line up across the street 9am Saturday. $20/extra day
• CITA – Aug 9-11 – live band Friday & Saturday, drunk bar, Adopt a Pet is back!
• Ivan & Jane – August 15-18, Howard Lake, MN – Friday Band, Saturday games, campsite them contest, Saturday potluck
• Kenosha WI car show on Labor Day weekend – County Line & HyRollin will be there. Free to enter, food donations requested
• HyRollin Vans Howling Van Pir Te – Elkhorn, WI Oct 11-13 – Friday Band, Saturday DJ, games, show n shine, bright n shine, tea bar
• Top Fuel Saloon – Braidwood IL, Van Show on July 27th from 1-4pm. Camping overnight allowed. $10 donation for food pantry
• CAVE trucking, Rensselaer, IN on Labor Day weekend – bands Friday & Saturday, Sunday driving games
• Corn Belt Council truckin – Sept 13-15, limited electric
• December – 3 Trails Vans Angry Elf Christmas Party. Donated 480 meals to Harvesters in 2023. 2024 date is TBD.
• 3 Trails Vans Freeze Out 2025 – Mar 21-23. New games coming, live band, show n shine, etc.
• Central Iowa Vanners 2025 – 50th Truck In – Music Friday & Saturday.
